SHIFT LEADERS

LDC Care Co Ltd are looking for Senior Support workers/Shiftleaders

Due to another period of fantastic growth, we are looking for Shift Leaders to join our team!

The main requirements we are looking for are: a caring attitude, up for a challenge, enthusiastic, loyal and hard working. No two days are the same so if you like variety in your day, this could be the job for you.

​You will be required to help co-ordinate and manage our successful services for Service Users and Carers.

Duties will include:

  • To take responsibility for the day-to-day in-service compliance under the instruction of the Service Manager by completing health and safety paperwork, risk assessments, in-service audits, completing audit actions, and reviewing and updating care files whilst regularly updating Management.
  • To take a lead with Service User annual reviews, medical appointments, and other meetings with professionals where required, ensuring that Management are kept up to date and actions completed.
  • To ensure that each Service User receives care appropriate to their individual needs by identifying key areas for development and working towards achieving outcomes.
  • To promote a caring environment for service users through high standards of professional practice which are conducive to the physical, emotional, social, intellectual and spiritual needs of the service users.
  • To take a lead in the induction of new staff within the Service, and where required, hosting Supervisory meetings with junior members of the team.

To be successful you will need to have proven experience in:

  • health and social care, working with adults who have learning difficulties and complex challenging behaviour
  • supervising a team of carers
  • adhering to policies and procedures, ensuring that the Company is always working within legislation guidelines
  • maintaining relations with local authorities, family members and others who are involved with the Service
  • assisting the manager to ensure that the service is adhering to care requirements,
  • creating, updating and reviewing Care Plans

Competitive pay rates are offered, up to £9.30ph dependent on qualifications and experience.

You will be part of a supportive team who will assist where necessary, but you will have responsibility for what happens in your service, with support from your Senior Manager.

This is a full time position and will include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Previous care experience is essential.

Full training will be provided at our Head Office in Folkestone and you will be fully supported during your probationary period and throughout your employment.

CARE ASSISTANT

Due to another period of fantastic growth, we are looking for Care Assistants to join our team!

​Duties will include: Providing support to our Service Users, helping to support Service Users in the community, holidays, domestic duties and personal care.

​This is a full time position and will include days, nights, weekends and bank holidays. Previous care experience is preferred but not essential.

We have a fantastic staff team and are looking for carers to join them in our expanding Dover and Ashford teams, either experienced or inexperienced.
